Answer:

All of the above.

Explanation:

The owners of the companies employed their own strategies. Sometimes if the company had enough supplies, they would lockout the workers. If they wanted to cut pay, they would tell the workers not to show up to work until they agreed to the cut. Often new employees were forced to sign contracts stating they would not join a union. Companies used many strategies to counter a strike. They would try to hire others, people called scabs, who would agree to work during a strike. The strikers would often use violence against these scabs.

According to Philip R.Shaver, there are three "behavioral systems" that play a role in romantic love: attachment, caregiving and sexual attraction.

You view love as an attachment when you are emotionally dependent on the other person for your happiness, safety and security, while love as caregiving refers to the great pleasure you receive from supporting, caring for and taking of a loved one.

Lastly, love as a sexual attraction is when you can't get the other person out of your mind and the thought of him or her excites you and turns you on.

If we will based the statement above from Shaver's model, we can say that the love being felt by John and Cynthia for each other transcends from attachment love to caregiving love.

Sophie [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

The United Nations Security Council adopts Resolution 1267, creating the so-called al-Qaeda and Taliban Sanctions Committee, which links the two groups as terrorist entities and imposes sanctions on their funding, travel, and arms shipments. The UN move follows a period of ascendancy for al-Qaeda and its leader, Osama bin Laden, who guided the terror group from Afghanistan and Peshawar, Pakistan, in the late 1980s, to Sudan in 1991, and back to Afghanistan in the mid-1990s. The Taliban, which rose from the ashes of Afghanistan’s post-Soviet civil war, provides al-Qaeda sanctuary for operations.
