En esta narración, se cuenta la historia de Ulises y su travesía tras partir de Troya cuando ganaron la guerra, Ulises y su tripulación se refugian en una isla, la cual en realidad es la <u>Isla de los Cíclopes</u>, y al entrar en una cueva con comida, caen presos del Cíclope <u>Polifemo</u>.

Ulises y su tripulación tienen que idear un plan de escape ya que Polifemo quiere devorarlos a todos, por lo cual decide que se vistan con las pieles de ovejas para hacerse pasar por el rebaño de Polifemo y así salir de la cueva.
