Write it like you would any dialogue between two characters. They must be opposing sides, one whom is pro slavery (bossuet) and someone whom opposes slavery (your character) for example it would look something like this:
Bossuet: Slavery should be kept legal in all states
Yourcharacter: slavery should not be kept legal because....
