Answer:

Well organized crime did not directly develop from Prohibition rather organized crime already existed but when the government told the whole country they can't sell or buy alcohol that makes such a process illegal. So, organized crime or crime families made profit from selling illegal alcohol or "bootlegging." More accurately organized crime was just put in the spot light when prohibition happened because they were the main resistance.  

Explanation:

Organized crime is defined by many crimes done by a organization such as a family or business. So when a large group of people begin selling alcohol they are considered being apart of an organized crime ring even if all they did was sell alcohol so even a truck driver could be made a "organized criminal"
