Pam is playing with red and black rocks. The number of red rocks she has is three more than twice the number of black rocks she

has. She has 42 rocks in all. How many red rocks does Pam have? * A)13 B) 15 C)29 D)33
Please help I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong ,because I'm not getting any of these answers.Thanks

I got 24 there is 24 red rocks and 18 black rocks.What I did was divide 42 by 2 and got 21 then added 3 and got 24. So hope this helps :D
