Give an easy explaination on everything involving categorical syllogisms
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

Consider, for example, the categorical syllogism: No geese are felines. ... Clearly, “Some birds are not felines” is the conclusion of this syllogism. The major term of the syllogism is “felines” (the predicate term of its conclusion), so “No geese are felines” (the premise in which “felines” appears) is its major premise.

What intent is present in case of crimes, such as theft, burglary and robbery?
Verdich [7]

Answer:

"Burglary (entering a building with the intent to commit a crime inside) and larceny (theft) are two different crimes, although burglaries are often committed for the purpose of theft. Burglary laws are intended to protect the sanctity and privacy of people's homes and other structures."

"Most people associate both terms with theft. But as it turns out, burglary occurs when a person enters a building for the purpose of committing a crime. ... Robbery, on the other hand, means that an assailant is forcing or threatening to force another person to give up something."

"Larceny (Theft)

To commit the crime of larceny, also known as theft, petty theft, or grand theft, a person must take someone else’s property without permission and with the intention to permanently deprive the owner of its use or possession. A theft may occur during the course of a burglary, but it can also occur as a separate incident. For example, shoplifting is theft, as is taking milk money from a schoolmate's backpack."

r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer: Jessica = Embezzlement

Jake = Forgery

Both = Conspiracy

Explanation:

• Jessica,s crime is embezzlement.

Embezzlement is when an individual misappropriates the fund that has been entrusted and placed in the person's care. In this case, Jessica steals the company's fund that is in her possession and this is a financial fraud.

• Jake's crime is forgery

Forgery is when a take signature, false document, or something else is being copied so as to deceive someone else. This is punishable as the person will be charged with fraud.

• The crime of both of them is conspiracy.

A conspiracy is simply when there is an agreement that takes place between two or more people when they want to commit a crime. In this scenario, both Jake and Jessica agreed to carry out the fraud.

Five (5) grounds upon which the Registrar can lawfully refuse to register a partnership in Ghana
sammy [17]

Answer: The answers are provided below.

Explanation:

A partnership is an arrangement that involves two or more persons combining some or all of their skills, resources, or industry in common in order to make profit that will be shared by the partners. The forms of partnership include limited partnership, non-trading partnership, and commercial partnership.

To register a partnership in Ghana, a copy of partnership agreement and a statement that is signed by all partners must be submitted to the Register General’s Department. The agreement must state the particulars of the name of the partnership, the nature of business, the address of the principal place of business and every other places in Ghana where the business is carried on, the names and addresses and occupations of the partners, the date of commencement, and the particulars of any charges requiring registration. Upon registration, the Registrar will issue a certificate of incorporation that states the names of the partners and that their liability is unlimited.

The grounds upon which a Registrar can lawfully refuse to register a partnership in Ghana include:

1. If the Registrar is not satisfied with the particulars or other information furnished under the provisions of the LLP Act.

2. if the name is identical to the names of other partnership or business.

3. If it is undesirable

4 . If the name is identical to a name which is being reserved under this section, Business Names Act or laws that are relating to Companies.

5. A name of a kind which the Minister has, by written notice, told the Registrar not to accept for registration.
