Answer:

20 questions are on the test

you have 16/? which is 80% imagine it as fractions

\frac{16}{x} = \frac{80}{100}

so you want to multiply on the diagonal

meaning multiplying our first fraction's numerator, 16 by the percentages denominator

example: 16×100

ok, now that you do that divide by the numerator in this case 80 this gets us 20. Hope i helped and sorry if this was long.

sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

(4x + 1)(x² - 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

4x³ + x² - 8x - 2 ( factor the first/second and third/fourth terms )

= x²(4x + 1) - 2(4x + 1) ← factor out (4x + 1) from each term

= (4x + 1)(x² - 2)

Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

D) 12,656

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all, as they have given us 3 quantities of plants in 1/2 an acre, we can work out the average amount of plants in 1 whole acre.

In the first 1/2 acre there were:

  • 291 plants

In the second 1/2 acre there were:

  • 327 plants

In the third 1/2 acre there were:

  • 286 plants

to work out the average, we add all these together then divide them by 3 (as there are 3 examples)

291 + 327 + 286 = 904

904 ÷ 3 = 301.3 (this is the average amount of plants in every 1/2 acre.) If we multiply this answer by 2 we will get the average amount of plants in every acre.

301.3 x 2 = 602.67 (average plants in every 1 acre) multiply by total acres (21) for your answer

602.67 x 21 = 12656 average plants in total

I hope this was helpful :-)
