Explanation:

However, Congress after the war passed legislation in 1866 to reduce the Court to seven Justices. That only lasted until 1869, when a new Judiciary Act sponsored by Senator Lyman Trumbull set the number back to nine Justices, with six Justices required at a sitting to form a quorum.Jul 6, 2018

Giving women the right to vote gazve them many opportunities. They finally had a part in government. They could chose their mayors, presidents, and other government officials. They could vote on reforms and amendments.

How long did the flag of 1956
Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

Georgia's 1956 Flag

In 1955 the Atlanta attorney and state Democratic Party leader John Sammons Bell began a campaign to substitute the square Confederate battle flag for the red and white bars on Georgia's state flag.

State Flag, 1956-2001

State Flag, 1956-2001

Along with Bell, state senators Jefferson Lee Davis and Willis Harden, who were well known for their interest in Georgia's Confederate history, agreed to introduce legislation to change the state flag. Some legislators favored the adoption of a standard state flag as an appropriate way to mark the upcoming centennial of the Civil War. A strong impetus for change, however, was the 1954 and 1955 Brown v. Board of Education decisions, which were bitterly denounced by most Georgia political leaders. The entire 1956 legislative session was devoted to Governor Marvin Griffin's platform of "massive resistance" to federally imposed integration of public schools. In this charged atmosphere, legislation to put the Confederate battle flag on Georgia's state flag sailed through the General Assembly.

Do you think the US lived up the American Dream that most immigrants had? Explain.
vivado [14]

Answer:

no, heck no. most people coming here from another country are hoping to be invited into a welcoming, free country. But when most people come here they are discriminated against constantly, shunned by society, and more recently, they have hate crimes committed against them and are put into camps that are comparable to concentration camps in Germany and America during WWII. America isn't a good country, not even close, if people are hoping to go to a free country, they should try Canada. Also, even though most immigrants have terrible jobs (janitors, fruit salesmen on the street, etc.) Americans always say that they're "stealing their jobs" but in reality, they're providing a service that Americans would never want to do. and immigrants are not even paid a good salary, they're paid less than minimum wage, which is already way, way too low.

I'm sure there are many key points that I'm missing, but I'm tired. and this is all from the top of my head.
