This was most true for plantation owners who needed large amounts of land to continue expanding their cash crop economy. Democrats pushed for land expansion to the west to get more land and even more resources. Manifest Destiny helped the US to gain the southwest from Mexico and the northwest negotiated from Great Britain.
There was new music, such as jazz and the blues. New churches and religious customs came north. There was different food and spoken dialect. Celebrations from their cultures came along with new neighborhoods. Finally, newspapers and journals had more of an impact.

He order to the crew members to throw the boats in the water before the ship is going inside the water. This action saves many people but large number of people die due to less number of boats.
