Answer:

Splitting the figure into triangles , rectangles and square

First triangle : base = 2 , height = 2

Area = 1/2 x 2 x 2 = 2 square units

Rectangle : length = 5 , breadth = 2

Area = 5 x 2 = 10 square units

Rectangle : length = 7, breadth = 1

Area = 7 x 1 = 7 square units

Rectangle : length = 6, breadth = 1

Area = 6 x 1 = 6 square units

Triangle : base = 3, height = 3

Area = 1/2 x 3 x 3 = 4.5 square units

Square : side = 3

Area = 3 x 3 = 9 square units

Total Area = 2 + 10 + 7 + 6 + 9 + 4.5 = 38.5 square units

Write a slope incercept equation passes through (-3, 2) and (-2, -1)
Cloud [144]

Answer:

y = - 3x - 7

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Calculate m using the slope formula

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 3, 2) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (- 2, - 1)

m = \frac{-1-2}{-2+3} = \frac{-3}{1} = - 3, thus

y = - 3x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute either of the 2 points into the partial equation

Using (- 2, - 1), then

- 1 = 6 + c ⇒ c = - 1 - 6 = - 7

y = - 3x - 7 ← equation in slope- intercept form

Please help I’m really confused. I will give BRAINLIEST!
stiv31 [10]

Answer:

t = 115

s = 60

g(x) = 10/23x - 10

Step-by-step explanation:

find s first since its easy (it goes up by 10's)

then take a pair from the table that corresponds such as 69 for x and 30 for g(x) and turn them into a fraction:

69/30

do the same for t:

t/50

equal 69/30 to t/50 and solve using cross multiplication:

69/30 = t/50 =

30t = 3450

/30      /30

t = 115

honestly had a little hard time finding the equation but basically I simplified the fraction 30/69 to get 10/23 for slope and then I insert a corresponding x and y value into y= mx+b with the slope value to find b.

5x + 6y = 16<br> -10x-12y = 25
Doss [256]

Answer:

  no solution

Step-by-step explanation:

There is no solution to this inconsistent system of linear equations. They describe parallel lines.

__

Adding twice the first equation to the second gives ...

  2(5x +6y) +(-10x -12y) = 2(16) +(25)

  0 = 57 . . . . . . . simplify. False

No values of x and y will make this statement true. There is NO SOLUTION to the system of equations.
