Think back to what you wrote when you brainstormed ideas for your topic. Then narrow down your ideas and decide on a single focu
Dima020 [189]

The topic was not added here. However, to accurately narrow down your ideas after brainstorming on a subject, it is vital that you pick the main idea from the points you obtained.

Let's say that you are told to make research on the reason why the American founders like Hamilton wrote the Federalist papers.

After gathering your points, you could narrow down the main idea to the fact that; "They wanted to support a central government."

This becomes the central idea of the text. You can now apply this logic to the activity that you were given.

Can anbody help me please
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

b. Persuade

Explanation:

a. It's not informing you of anything as this is an opinion.

c. It's not describing vanilla ice cream, its just explaining why they like it.

d. It's not made to entertain as it has no real plot, it's an opinion

b. Persuade is the only reasonable answer as the author is trying to tell you why vanilla ice cream is the best, they are trying to persuade you to either eat vanilla ice cream or make it your favorite.

Which revision best corrects the errors in the given sentence? The people behind us in line at least a dozen by our count arrive
katrin2010 [14]
The correct answer is a: The people behind us in line (at least a dozen by our count) arrived too late to get tickets. Parentheses () are often used to enclose additional information, a short explanation, an example, or comment. In this example, there is no need to capitalize the first letter within the parentheses. The last choice is a run-on sentence and incorrect.
