Answer:

The person who said that was Mom.

Explanation:

In "The Glass Castle," a memoir by author Jeanette Walls, Jeanette's father simply tosses the family cat, Quixote, out the car window. Of course this action shows a lot about him - he is most likely a cold, merciless man. Jeanette's reaction, on the other hand, shows she is more sensitive than her father. When she starts crying, it is her mother who tells her to stop being so sentimental. She also says they can get another cat, and that life will be better for Quixote now.

Which excerpt from John Updike's "The Brown Chest" includes a historical reference for the story?
bogdanovich [222]
The chest, on that day of moving, had been set in the new attic, which was smaller than the other, and less frightening, perhaps because gaps in the cedar-shingled roof let dabs of daylight in. When the roof was being repaired, the whole space was thrown open to the weather. This is the answer.

Which two lines in this excerpt from John Milton’s Paradise Lost support the claim that Satan perceived women as being inferior
Lyrx [107]

In this excerpt, we can cleary see how Satan perceived men as superior than women because he claims in favour of men using big and good adjectives to describe them, adjectives related to strong people and so on. Inteasted, he describes women with soft adjectives treating them as delicated people, warm, affectionate ones, leading to believe they can not be strong as men. To support this, we can use the following lines: "<em>The image of their glorious Maker shon, Truth, Wisdome, Sanctitude severe and pure, Severe, but in true filial freedom plac't; Whence true autoritie in men; though both Not equal, as their sex not equal seemd;"</em>
