Explanation:

Large amount of oil reserves were found on the shallow part of the sea. This is why you often see pictures/videos of oil rights in the middle of the sea. Ship is the only reliable method of transportation to bring the oil to the cities.

Just like oil, ships are the only reliable method of transportation on to the land. Approximal tell, around 45 Billion worth of sea-product was traded on seaborne trade.

Businesses owners used usually use ships to transport their automobiles outside of untied stets. Planes typically do not have enough space for a car to be put in. this is why those companies prefer using seaborne as a method of distributing their products.
