Answer:

The speaker's perspective is that of a loving father, happy to entertain and play around with her daughters. He expressed his caring and endless love for them throughout the whole poem.

Explanation:

The poem "The Children's Hour" is written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow about a father and his daughters' relationship. The poem presents a caring and deeply emotional love a father has for his daughters.

The speaker in the poem is an unnamed man, probably the father of the three girls. He comments about himself as "an old mustache as I am." But through his reaction to his daughters bursting into his room, suggests he is a loving father. This can be inferred from the lines that express his feelings for his daughters-

<em>"voices soft and sweet"</em>

<em>"They almost devour me with kisses"</em>

<em>"And there will I keep you forever".</em>

These three lines from the poem are evidence of the father's/ speaker's love for the three little girls- Alice, Allegra, and Edith.

Cameron's father wouldn't allow her to play with her friends until her room was spotless. Cameron hated cleaning; it was boring.
Marianna [84]

Answer:

The  moment of highest tension in the story was when Cameron had a look at her untidy room  and thought that it would take forever to clean the room.

The moment was tensed when Cameron sat on her bed and looked at the piles of books on her desk, her unmade bed and her clean laundry in a basket at the door. She got sad and thought it will take forever for her to tidy the room which means that she couldn't go playing with her friends.

koban [17]

Answer:

The poet develops the theme by:

1. comparing overcoming the hardships in life to weathering a storm.

Explanation:

In "He Had His Dream" by Paul Laurence Dunbar, the speaker describes someone who does not let the difficulties of life determine his fate. Such difficulties are compared, in an extended metaphor, to a storm. Even though the stormy winds are strong enough to almost sink the ship, the man remains strong and hopeful. He tells himself the storm will soon pass, and he will be able to reach his destination when it does. The speaker is thus, comparing overcoming the hardships in life to weathering a storm.
