What are the<br> effect of wind on temperature of a place.
Alinara [238K]

Explanation:

Effects of Wind

on forecasted temperatures

At night, the earth's surface cools by radiating heat off to space. The strongest cooling takes place right near the surface while temperatures at roughly 3000 feet are actually warmer than those at the surface. On a windy night, some of the warmer air aloft is mixed down towards the surface. This occurs because the winds are faster aloft than at the surface.

To visualize this, place one hand over the other about six inches apart. The bottom hand represents the air near the surface and the top hand represents the warmer wind higher up. Move the bottom hand slowly and the upper hand faster (to indicate the faster winds aloft). The faster air above and slower air below causes the air to overturn or spin (as in the picture below). This overturning motion is how warmer air from above is transported downward on windy nights.

A popular American hamburger chain successfully entered the fast food market in India by altering the menu to include vegetarian
umka21 [38]

Answer:

stimulus diffusion

Explanation:

Stimulus diffusion is a type of cultural diffusion. That is a process where a trend spreads to a place and then changes to suit the new location and the cultural context of that location. Since they don't consume beef in India they changed the menu because of the culture and because they wouldn't be able to make money off of that product.

What role did soda play in the anti American sentiment during the Iraq war
solong [7]

I learning about this now! This is from  my history book. Good Luck!

Anti-Americanism, anti-American sentiment, osometimes Americanophobia,is dislike of or opposition to the governmental policies of the United States, especially regarding the foreign policy, or the American people in general.

Political scientist Brendon O'Connor of the United States Studies Centre suggests that anti-Americanism cannot be isolated as a consistent phenomenon and that the term originated as a rough composite of stereotypes, prejudices and criticisms evolving to more politically based criticism. French scholar Marie-France Toinet says use of the term anti-Americanism"is only fully justified if it implies systematic opposition – a sort of allergic reaction – to America as a whole".

Discussions on anti-Americanism have in most cases lacked a precise explanation of what the sentiment entails (other than a general disfavor), which has led to the term being used broadly and in an impressionistic manner, resulting in the inexact impressions of the many expressions described as anti-American.William Russell Melton argues that criticism largely originates from the perception that the U.S. wants to act as a "world policeman".

Negative views of the United States are generally strongest in the Arab world, China, former Soviet countries, certain European nations, and North Korea, and weakest in Sub-Saharan Africa and most parts of Southeast Asia.
