How are redwoods and arms races similar?
dimulka [17.4K]

The similarity between the redwoods and the arms race is that they both express a competitive nature.

We can arrive at this answer because:

  • The arms race refers to the ability of countries to compete with each other to have a greater and more powerful military power.
  • Redwoods compete with each other and with other trees for resources such as sun, space, and nutrients.

From this, we can conclude that the competitive nature and the objective to stand out and be stronger than their peers, is the similarity between the redwoods and the arms race.

Do you agree with Khan's claim regarding the goal of education? Why or why not ?
notsponge [240]

I do think khan helps you, just not the right help. Most students do Khan simply because they have to. A lot of times this makes for a bad education. Sometimes they just don't do it at all. Khan shows you what to do, but it dose not seem to help anyone. I get a lot of complaints about how the teacher adds to many but even more so, khan is not helping them learn. It will give you hints but then it marks that question wrong. So in the end I guess you could say no I don't agree with Khan's claim regarding the goal of education.
