Step-by-step explanation:

4x + 2y = 10 --------(1)

2x + 3y = 33 -----------(2)

Multiply 2 with eq. (1) and 4 with eq. (2)

8x + 4y = 20 ____________(3)

8x + 12y = 132 ______(4)

Subtracting (3) from (4),

8x + 4y = 20

- 8x -12y = -132

----------------------

0 -8y = -112

y = 112/8

y = 4 is the answer.

Putting the vakue of y in eq. (2),

2x + 12 = 33

2x = 33-12

2x = 21

x = 21/2 is the answer.

Answer: B and C

Step-by-step explanation: To start off, you subtract 3 from both sides, to get 4<z/2, then multiply both sides by 2, you get z>8. Now it's greater than 8, so it can't equal 8, so the answers would be B and C, since they are both greater than 8, and you have to select multiple choices.

natita [175]

Answer:

The answer to this question can be defined as follows:

The Lower sum ="0.659"

The Upper sum ="0.859"

Step-by-step explanation:

In the given equation there is some mistype error, so the correct equation and its solution can be defined as follows:

Equation:

y= \sqrt{1-x^2}

calculating the Δx:

=\frac{(1 - 0)}{5}\\\\=\frac{1}{5}

calculating the Upper sum value:

=\bigtriangleup x  \times (f(0) + f(\frac{1}{5}) + f(\frac{2}{5}) + f(\frac{3}{5}) + f(\frac{4}{5})) \\\\= \frac{1}{5} \times  (1 + \sqrt{(\frac{24}{25})} + \sqrt{\frac{21}{25}} + \frac{4}{5} + \frac{3}{5})\\\\= 0.859

calculating the Lower sum value:
