Answer: Yes, The reason why is because then their child will gain athletic skills from a young age. There are many pros to this idea and it is good to get your child into physical exersize so that the don´t get diabeties when they get older. For example: maybe your friends child had a baby and introduced them into physical exersize as a young child. Then you had a baby and did the opposite. Your friends baby will more likely be way more active than your baby. And will do much more sports than your baby. But there are some cons in this area too. For example: your child that had been introduced to exersize at a young age can get heat strokes and will need to go to the emergency room. Or they will brake a bone or two. But you just got to be very careful when it comes to that stuff and don´t over do it or those things will happen But otherwise it is a very good idea and should be brought into young childrens  lives in small doses.

Read the sentence. Mercury and Venus _____ relatively close to the sun, and neither Mercury nor Venus _____ to support life.
aivan3 [116]

The pair of verb forms which correctly completes the sentence is the following one:

A. are; appears.

The complete sentence would look like this:

"Mercury and Venus are relatively close to the sun, and neither Mercury nor Venus appears to support life."

In the first clause, the subject is formed by "Mercury and Venus", which means it is plural, and therefore it requires a plural verb (<em>Mercury and Venus</em> are= <em>They</em> are).

In the second clause, there is a neither...nor construction, and both elements which form the subject (again, <em>Mercury and Venus</em>, but this time used in the construction <u>neither</u><u><em> Mercury </em></u><u>nor</u><u><em> Venus</em></u>) are singular nouns, which means a singular verb must be used: neither Mercury nor Venus <em>appears</em>.

What is the most important event that happened in chapter 8 of the book, The outsiders and why?
Rama09 [41]

Answer: The most important event in chapter eight of <u>The Outsiders</u> is Ponyboy and Randy's conversation outside of the diner. The significance of  this scene is that Randy and Ponyboy find a common ground by talking about Bob and the school children. Randy realizes that Greasers are more than just hot-headed guys who like to fight, and Pony realizes that just because the Socs are different, they are people too, just like him. They both leave with a better understanding of each other, almost like bridging a gap between the Socs and Greasers.
