Answer:

$6 million of outstanding bonds that mature in 2025, but which are currently callable by bondholders. However, because current market interest rates are much higher than the coupon rate on the bonds, the bondholders are not expected exercise the call option.

NON-CURRENT LIABILITY $6,000,000

the bonds are not expected to be called this year

A $2 million mortgage on its manufacturing building, which is due in June of 2019. However, on January 28th, before the issuance of 2018 financial statements, Oldman refinanced this mortgage by making a down payment of $400k and taking out a new mortgage for $1.6 million.

CURRENT LIABILITY $400,000

NON-CURRENT LIABILITY $1,600,000

the debt was refinanced, so most of it will not be due this year

A $1.2 million note payable from the company’s bank which is due on March 31, 2019. The note is secured by the company’s inventory and accounts receivable. The company expects to refinance this note, but has not yet started the process to do so.

CURRENT LIABILITY $1,200,000

since the refinance process has not started, you must consider this a current liability

Answer:

C. The standard of one vote for each share cannot be altered.

Explanation:

Shares are sold to individuals that now obtain ownership rights of a company.

Common share holders are entitled to voting in of new board members and also have the ability to vote for changes in bylaws of the company.

Also common shareholders are shares have different classes with different voting rights.

However it is not true that the standard of one vote for each share cannot be altered.

When more shares are issued by a company it can result in dilution of shares. That means for example if a person has 10,000 shares in a company with 1 million shares, and the company now issues an extra 1 million shares making 2 million in total now.

The shareholder's standard of vote for each share is now halved

iren2701 [21]

Answer:

a.raises; lowers; raises

Explanation:

An expansionary monetary policy is usually undertaken by the Central bank to increase money supply.

When money supply is increased, output increases and real GDP rises.

The rise in money supply which causes output to increase would lead to an increase in demand for Labour. This would reduce unemployment.

Because of rise of money supply, the supply of money in the economy would rise and the price level would rise.

I hope my answer helps you.

Austin and Erin are willing to pay $10 and $9, respectively, for a ticket to a screening of a new movie. What is the total consu
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

B) $7

Explanation:

The computation of the consumer surplus is shown below:

Consumer surplus = Willing to pay - Market price

For Austin, The consumer surplus = $10 - $6 = $4

For Erin, The consumer surplus = $9 - $6 = $3

So, the total consumer surplus = $4 + $3 = $7

Simply we deduct the market price from the willing to pay so that the consumer surplus can be computed
