Answer: The Constitution gave Congress the power to lay taxes and also to collect them. Taxes more precisely, the money they provide make all other government actions possible  Second, duties, imposts, and excises must be uniform an easy to meet standard, but one which, if ignored, can be fatal to a statute.

The Spanish Seven Bishops myth influenced exploration because as people learned about this myth, they began searching for these seven cities of gold, in hopes of getting wealthy. The Mayans and the Aztecs were very wealthy, and spoke of seven caves. Later, in 1539, a friar spoke of the seven wonderous cities of Cibola. This myth was the reason for the fall of the Aztec empire because when Hernán Cortés found out about the Aztecs wealth, he decided to conquer them, and steal their wealth.
