A bag contains 13 red bulbs,5 white bulbs and some green bulbs. a bulb is selected at random from the bag. the probability of selecting a red bulb is 1/3.
1) calculate the number of green bulbs in the bag
2)all the green bulbs in the bag are removed. another 2 red bulbs and 3 white bulbs are added into the bag. if a bulb is picked at random from the bag,what is the probability that the bulb is red?

1. There are 6 green bulbs because
13+5=18*1/3=6 green bulbs
2. The probability of getting a red bulb is 15/8
