What type of equation? I'm assuming you may mean PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction), meaning that when solving an equation first you solve anything that's in parenthesis. After that you do exponents and then either multiplication or division, going left to right if there are multiple parts of the equation that require you to do multiplication or division. Then you move on to addition and subtraction, the same rules with multiplication and division apply. Hopefully I explained this well.

A population of rabbits doubles evey 4 months. if the population starts out with 8 rabbits how many rabbits will there be in 1 y
Airida [17]
If it doubles in every 4 months, then in 1 year it will double by 12/4 = 3 times.

So, the expression would be: n³
n = number of rabbit at starting point = 8

So, after 1 year, it would be = 8³ = 512

So, your final answer is 512

Hope this helps!

Write the equation of the line that passes through the points (-2,6) and (4, 6). Put
ivolga24 [154]

Answer:

y = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets first try to find the slope between the two points. Note, if the slope is 0, then the line would be a horizontal line. If the slope is undefined, then it is a vertical line.

We can use the slope formula to find the slope between the two lines, but notice something. The slope formula is technically just the change in y divided by the change in x. Between the two points, the y-value does not change and the x-value does change. This means that the change in y is 0, but the change in x is not zero. This means that the slope would be 0, resulting in a horizontal line.

Now, we know that the resulting line is horizontal, meaning it will take the form of y = _. Since the y-values for both of the points is 6, it makes sense to say that the equation for the line would be y = 6.

I hope this helps. Happy studying.

Kelly works two jobs. She usually works at a retail store for 7 hours during the day and is paid $22.22 per hour by the store. I
Ede4ka [16]

Answer:

Hey,

so if she works for seven hours at both jobs then we multiply how much she gets paid per hour times seven or 22.22*7=155.54 and 13.55*7=94.85. Then we add what is underlined, 155.54+94.85= our answer which is 250.39 per day.
