y = \frac{14}{x} + 3

Step 1) Reflect the original function over the y = x line, as this becomes our inverse (ie swap the values of the x and y-coordinates)
x = \frac{14}{y} + 3

Step 2) Solve for y.
\frac{14}{y} + 3 = x
\frac{14}{y} = x - 3
y(x - 3) = 14
y = \frac{14}{x - 3}

\therefore y^{-1} = \frac{14}{x - 3}
