Answer:

Mary has a rise of 12 and a run of 4.  Mary has a slope of 3. Mary would have a rise of 12 and a run of 4, making her slope, or rate of change, $3 a day. Julie would have a rise of 19 and a slope of 6, making her slope, or rate of change, $3.17 a day. Since Julie is raising money at a faster rate, she would get to the goal of $1000 first. Julie has a rise of 19 and a run of 6.  Julie has a slope of 19/6 or 3 and 1/6.  Julie will reach her goal first, as she has the greater slope.

Hope this Helps!

What is the surface area of a cube that is 4 cm on each edge?
icang [17]

Answer:

96 units squared

Step-by-step explanation:

The surface area of a cube can be written as 6 * (s^2)

s is the side length.

4^2 = 16.

6 * 16 = 96.

This is because the area of a cube is s^2.

There are 6 sides to a cube, so we multiply them.

What method can you use to find the area of the composite figure? Select three options.
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: We can draw a vertical line segment from the smaller section of the rectangle straight down. This would cut the rectangle into 2 smaller rectangles. We can then find the area of each rectangle and add them to find the area of the composite figure.
