Albert Bandura is a Canadian-American psychologist who was given birth to on the 4th of December, 1925 in Mundare, Alberta, Canada. He worked at Stanford University as a Professor Emeritus of social science in psychology and philosophy of action.
In 1997, Professor Bandura published his book titled "Self-Efficacy: The Exercise of Control" which typically deals with an individual's belief in his or her own competence.
According to Bandura, if someone is confident in performing a task, they most likely have high self-efficacy in regard to that particular task.
