E: NATO fueled the west's military against the USSR and the warsaw pact basically... if one member state was attacked all the other memeber states would help defend them.

The King tried to take away the rights of the people by taking away the right to bear arms and pay unfair taxes. In the Declaration it says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." We have certain rights that British rule took from us and that is our "Unalienable rights."
