The processes are essentially opposite reactions. Photosynthesis forms carbohydrates (glucose, sugar) from carbon dioxide and water, releasing oxygen in the process. Cellular respiration uses the stored energy by oxidizing the carbohydrates and releasing water and carbon dioxide.

Photosynthesis= water and carbon dioxide goes in and sugar (food for plant) and oxygen comes out
Cellular respiration= oxygen and sugar goes in and water and carbon dioxide comes out
