Its almost a 2021 song so im counting it lol it came out like a couple days before but-... yeah. I like the unique voice the singer has and the piano just sounds so lovely. The lyrics themselves reminds me of my relationship, playful and kinda teasing. It just overall a good song. its unique. It makes me happy while listening to it and is an easy song to sing.
The song touches me a lot. It starts with a mellow synth/piano, then goes in with the beat. The lyrics of the song really hits me, and even though it’s super slow, it hits me real fast. Despite it’s lo-fi/future bass feel, the message gets me every time. And though the lyrics talk about pain, it strikes me as if it’s talking about love.
The words, "...my soul...floating..." show that the character feels hopeless and doesn't have a soul anymore probably. The character is likely depressed because of the Raven, who symbolizes loneliness and grief. Poe likely was especially sad at this point of his life, so he saw himself as the character.
