I think it is 3 A but it is hard to know what the question is asking... but my logic is that 3 A is right because A = 1+2 = 3
Well, since it is multiple choice, you can just eliminate the answers. If you take 5/4 it equals 1.25. Then you go through the choices. All of the numbers, except 7.2 (C) are infinite. And, 7.2 gives you the 1.25 from before... which is your answer

To find the rate, or the slope, you divide x/y. So 2/6 is 1/3. 3 over 9 is also 1/3. So the rate is 1/3. In rates you always divide, you don't mulitply or subtract or add to find the rate.
