Why is oxygen important for all body cells?
Masja [62]

Answer:

Our body cells require oxygen to release energy.

Explanation:

The oxygen that we take in during respiration is used to break down the food we eat to release energy from it. When we breathe in oxygen, it diffuses into blood from the lung, where it is transported by red blood cells to the entire body to be used to produce energy.

How does the mass of an object affect its a its acceleration during free fall
kirill115 [55]
Normally it is seen that objects with more mass accelerates during their free fall than objects having smaller mass. The frictional force of air also known as the drag force get negated by the massive object and so the object gets acceleration during the free fall. If the mass of the object is small, then the frictional force or the drag will slow the object during free fall. In case of vaccum the mass of the object does not matter as there is no drag or frictional force working against it. The objects with greater  or smaller mass will then free fall with the same speed in the vaccum.

Explain why fertilizer use by farmers can have negative effects on aquatic ecosystems?
yan [13]
Fertilizer can lead to algal bloom in aquatic ecosystems, which means that its usage may lead to oversaturation of algae in the seas and oceans. Although algae are good for these kinds of waters in limited amounts, when there are too much of them it can stifle all other life, thus having negative effects on aquatic ecosystems.

olasank [31]

Answer:

it breaks glycogen into glucose

Explanation:

Lysosome is an organelle in the cells that is responsible for the production of digestive enzymes and thereby breaks down glycogen to glucose.

  • Lysosome is membrane bound organelle.
  • It is responsible for the secretion of digestive enzymes and breaking down of dead cells.

The nucleus is the control center of the cell and it contains the DNA.

Proteins are not created in the lysosome and they are not responsible for the movement of the cell mass.
