The League of nations or as it is known by its abbreviation LON was a intergovernmental and multinational organisation established in 1920. It was founded after the first world war and its principal mission was to bring world peace. It ceased to operate in 1946.

To approve any decision , Unanimity was required that means 100% of members have to agree upon it. As a result, any representative may theoretically veto any proposal.  In fact, such an occurrence was extremely uncommon.
