In 200 words, explain the obligations that Wiesel suggests the Holocaust gives to humanity in his speech "Hope,
Butoxors [25]

The obligations that Elie Wiesel states in "Hope, Despair, and Memory" are to quote: "None of us is in a position to eliminate war, but it is our obligation to denounce it and expose it in all its hideousness." Wiesel meant that we need to teach others of war's hideousness, and to tell of the terrifying tales from them. An example of this is the Holocausts. Many works of literature ranging from books to poems exist from this period. Because many people were noble enough to express what happened to them, or of someone else, the world now knows the tortuous things that happened in the Holocausts. Due to these people sharing their experiences and those works becoming well known, many people will not allow the Holocausts happen again. This was the obligation that Wiesel stated in his speech he presented when he received his Nobel Peace Prize. Wiesel is one of those people who never let the memory of the Holocausts die. He wrote books about experiences in the Holocausts and of others experiences as well. He followed through on his obligation, are you willing to write about your daily life in order for others to see it? Wiesel also states: "Remembering is a noble and necessary act." We need to be able to recount our daily lives in order for the future generations to be able to know what it was like. They can then look back upon our recounts and see what we had to deal with. Such as, the building of "The Wall" by Donald Trump, the California wildfires, and school shootings. And the good things like: celebrating birthdays, hanging out with friends, following our hobbies and dreams, and being able to choose what religion we are part of. It is our obligation to write about our school days, our experiences, our love triangles, our bits of depression, our lives to share with the world.

The fact that language learning is achieved by typically developing infants across the globe indicates that language is?
Leya [2.2K]

Answer: The first signs of communication occur when an infant learns that a cry will bring food, comfort, and companionship. Newborns also begin to recognize important sounds in their environment, such as the voice of their mother or primary caretaker. As they grow, babies begin to sort out the speech sounds that compose the words of their language. By 6 months of age, most babies recognize the basic sounds of their native language.

Children vary in their development of speech and language skills. However, they follow a natural progression or timetable for mastering the skills of language. A checklist of milestones for the normal development of speech and language skills in children from birth to 5 years of age is included below. These milestones help doctors and other health professionals determine if a child is on track or if he or she may need extra help. Sometimes a delay may be caused by hearing loss, while other times it may be due to a speech or language disorder.

How do Maria Elisa's and Mami's views on money compare?
tia_tia [17]

Their opinions are compared when they both agree that money should be spent on important things. However, they disagree on what is important.

We can arrive at this answer because:

  • Maria Elisa wants to buy a gift for her favorite teacher.
  • She believes this is very important, as Christmas is a time to give gifts to loved ones.
  • Because this is an important time, she wants to buy a special gift, as she believes the money should be spent on important and special things.
  • Mami agrees that the money has to be spent on important and special things, but she doesn't believe that giving someone a gift is important.

Mami likes to save money and likes to buy cheap and simple gifts, leaving the money for when an emergency arises.

This question is about "A Present For Mrs. Robertson."
