How does the story "Prince Louie" show the influence of the biblical story of Samson? In both stories, a strong hero loses his s
puteri [66]

Answer:

In both stories, a strong hero loses his strength through the treachery of his wife, who is an enemy spy.

Explanation:

In the biblical story of Samson, his mother is instructed by God at his birth never to shave a hair from his head and he would have super strength to achieve what mere men could not achieve.

True to the words of God, Samson grew up having great strength because his hair was never shaved. He fell in love and married Delilah a Philistine who was sent to spy on him and discover the secret of his great strength so he can be subdued. Samson tells her his secret and he is subdued by his enemies.

In the story Prince Louie, when Louie was only just a child, his mother tells him that soon he would become King Louis of Forbush and she gave him a ring and asked him to wear it at all times and he would succeed in his royal duties.

Just as his mother said, he grew up to become a successful king, banishing his enemies and the kingdom having peace. He fell in love and married Anabellla of Gnarltree who unknown to him was a spy sent to find out the secret of his power. King Louis told her his secret was the ring and sge got the ring off and his kingdom was invaded.

Excerpt from Marsupials
Vesnalui [34]

B) escape from their enemies by jumping away

Escape is spelled correctly in the excerpt. Escape does not have an x. This means option A is wrong and B is correct. C is also wrong because of the spelling of escape and also because it uses the wrong there. In the sentence, their is a possessive adjective. It shows that enemies "belong" to the monkeys since they are the enemies of the monkeys. There means a place, as in over there. They're is a contraction meaning they are. Option D is wrong because of the spelling of escape and the apostrophe in enemie's. An apostrophe is used for contractions or to show ownership. The enemies do not own anything and it is not part of a contraction.
