I'm pi ss ed because in english Im reading a story told from the point of view of a man in his 30s whos mentally ret art ed his

IQ is very low and his friends make fun of him for it his name is Charlie Gordon when someone does something stu.pid they say "are you tyring to pull a Charlie Gordon" and when he came back from his surgery they said "what did they do put some brains in" and then they got him drunk and beat him up but he doesnt understand they're being mean to him he just laughs along with them

"I just wanted to check out these books" Timmy said.

"Good. Do you have a membership card"?

"No", explained Timmy. "Can I get one".

"Yes you can", said the librarian. "Here is the form to fill out". Timmy filled out the form and turned it back over to the librarian.

"Great", said the librarian. "Here is your card".

"Thanks", said Timmy and he took his card and books. "Now, I can read even more"!

"Enjoy your books Timmy" the librarian said as he turned and left. "I hope to see you again soon".

"You will" Timmy said leaving.
