Can someone answer this please
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

<COB = 50°

Step-by-step explanation:

We can say that m<AOC + m<COD + m<DOB = 180° because the three mentioned angles form a straight line. We can substitute to get:

3x + 94 + x + 18 + 2x - 4 = 180

Then, we can combine like terms:

6x + 108 = 180

6x = 72

x = 12

We can see that m<COB is the sum of m<COD and m<DOB. We can wrote an equation to model the situation:

m<COB = m<COD + m<DOB

m<COB = x + 18 + 2x - 4

m<COB = 3x + 14

We have the value of x, so we can substitute that in:

<COB = 3(12) + 14

<COB = 36 + 14

<COB = 50°

GaryK [48]
Answer:
5 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that during a science experiment
The temperature of a solution in a beaker 15 degrees below zero
The temperature of solution in a beaker 2 was opposite of the temperature in beaker 1
We have to determine the temperature of beaker 2.
It mean temperature of beaker 1 solution=-5 degrees
According to question
Temperature of beaker 2 solution =5 degrees
Hence, the temperature of solution in a beaker 2=5 degrees

Suppose you want to have $400,000 for retirement in 35years. Your account earns 4% interest.
Sedaia [141]
\begin{equation*} \$437.76 \end{equation*}

1) This is a question for Annuity usage. Note that we'll need the following formula below:

\begin{gathered} P=\frac{A(\frac{r}{n})}{\lbrack(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}-1\rbrack} \\ P=\frac{400000(\frac{0.04}{12})}{\lbrack(1+\frac{0.04}{12})^{12\cdot35}-1\rbrack} \\ P=\frac{400000\cdot\frac{0.04}{12}}{\left(1+\frac{0.04}{12}\right)^{35\cdot\:12}-1} \\ P=\frac{400000\cdot\frac{0.04}{12}}{1.0033^{420}-1} \\ P=437.76563...\approx\$437.76 \end{gathered}

Note that P is the value you'll need to deposit each month so that in 35 years you'll have $400,000 for your retirement.
