As we know, satire is a literary device that primarily aims to ridicule or critique the social or political follies in order to bring it to attention. In the poem titled 'The Leader and the led' by Niyi Osundare, satire has been employed to mock the major political groups of Nigeria who are in the rat race to gain political power as well as money.
