A budget can help a friend who constantly is constantly in need of money by cutting down on things that aren't necessary. This can also help them in the future to buy something with the money they saved up over time instead of having to struggle with other expenses.

Explanation:

A budget will cut down on expenses by making sure you buy things so that even after you buy you may have extra money to spend. This will reduce the things that you don't need. For instance, think about if someone had the option of buying new clothes or buying a new video game. Naturally, someone who likes games would go for the new video game. Although the games are fun it would benefit the person to buy clothes, since they are an important need in our lives compared to video games which can be focused on for later time.
