Answer:

Sailing west across the Atlantic Ocean.

Explanation:

Christopher Columbus was a very popular Italian voyager, navigator and explorer who completed four voyages (1492–93, 1493–96, 1498–1500, and 1502–04 respectively) across the Atlantic Ocean. Columbus was born to a wool merchant in 1451 in Genoa, Italy and he died 20th of May, 1506 in Valladolid, Spain.

Christopher Columbus wanted to reach Asia by sailing west across the Atlantic Ocean. In his thinking, he thought going through that route was a more direct way to get to Asia by water.

Additionally, the Columbian Exchange was named after the very popular voyager and explorer, Christopher Columbus.

Columbian Exchange is also referred to as the Columbian Interchange and typically involved the widespread movement of commodities, plants, technology, cultures, diseases, people and animals across West Africa, the Atlantic, America and the Old world (Europe, Asia, and Africa) as far back as in the 15th and 16th century.

Gloria does a lot of weight training between soccer games. As she strengthens her muscles, she is able to run harder and faster
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

long-term potentiation

Explanation:

Gloria does a lot of weight training between soccer games. As she strengthens her muscles, she is able to run harder and faster during games. In the same ways, when synaptic connections between neurons become strengthened, the activity between them increases. This biological mechanism that underlies learning is called long term potentiation, long-term potentiation (LTP) is a persistent strengthening of synapses based on recent patterns of activity, these are patterns of synaptic activity that produce a long lasting increase in signal transmission between two neurons. Hence, allows Gloria to be able to run harder and faster during games.
