Alert! Everything you read is just THOUGHTS, not a factual argument based on current or any evidence.

Although this may be naivety, I believe that separate realms or dimensions exist alongside the reality we live. For every action, there is an opposite, equal reaction. In this case, any action would be our existence, and the opposite and equal reaction would be the existence of separate realms. If you think about it, why does the earth rotate? What if it spun because another universe is taking its turn?
Another reason could be the planets. Currently, to the abilities of our research, there is no evidence of life on Mars, one of the planets. However, we humans may not have the same abilities as the beings (or not beings) we have labeled as "aliens", even though they do not exist. So, that may include vision. We may not be able to see them because of a law in the dimension.

I'm not completely sure whether it was used in a way to be passive aggressive towards Hamilton himself. I completely understand why it can be seen this way though I'm not entirely sure whether or not it's made to sound that way towards him.
To put the actual question into light though, Jefferson is an opponent of Hamilton. They constantly fought over the ideals of America and both voiced their opinions loudly. Even in the song The Election of 1800 it can be quoted that Hamilton "[had] never agreed with Jefferson once", which in itself shows their relationship with one another.
