The Wounded Knee Massacre took place on December 29, 1890, near the Wounded Knee creek in the Native reservation of Pine Ridge, located in the state of South Dakota.

At least 150 members of the Lakota tribe had been killed and 51 others were wounded in it.

There was also the threat of a Nuclear War between the Soviet Union and the US. Where both sides were forced to not fight because if they did the end of the world would ensue. Many countries were overtaken by the Soviet Union leading to them becoming communist countries as well.
