Why is Mrs. Williams clearly the guilty party in the case?

<span>She is married, though she is not wearing her wedding ring.  Too, when the detective is questioning the painter and cleaning lady about the blue paint used to deface the painting, Mrs. Williams is seen biting the nails on her left hand—the hand where her wedding ring should be.  It can be assumed that Mrs. Williams is not wearing her wedding because she got paint on it, and she is biting her nails to remove the evidence of the blue paint that may have been on and/or under her nails in order to remove the evidence the way she might have done by removing a potentially paint-stained wedding ring.</span>

What motivated her to ruin the Wyeth painting?

<span>Mrs. Williams is angry with her husband by the way her husband treats Mrs. Williams’ family—his in-laws.  In order to get back at her husband, she for treating what she loves badly, she ruined something he loves—fine art.</span>

My own house was an eyesore, but it was a small eyesore, and it had been overlooked, so I had a view of the water, a partial vie
ser-zykov [4K]

Answer:

Financial wealth is desirable to the narrator.

Explanation:

"The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a story about the protagonist Jay Gatsby's tragic story of his pursuit of his young love Daisy Buchanan. Daisy is a wealthy young woman married to Tom Buchanan, while Jay is a self made millionaire.

The story is narrated by Nick Carraway who had moved to this part of town. He is seen describing his house in chapter 1, saying that his <em>"own house was an eyesore, but it was a small eyesore.......</em>". His use of the phrases <em>"the consoling proximity of millionaires"</em> and<em> "white palaces of fashionable East Egg glittered" </em>shows that Nick considers financial wealth desirable. He says that staying in close proximity to millionaires is consoling, and the houses in East Egg are fashionable white palaces, glittering, looking attractive in comparison to his own house in West Egg.

natali 33 [55]

a). Are you sure that you can go to the fair this weekend?

Explanation:

Verbals are characterized as the verbs that do not play the role of verbs in the sentence. These are the present or past participle forms of the verb which function as adverb, noun, or adjective in the sentence. The first sentence does not include a verbal as there is no verb that is functioning as a noun or to modify the verb or noun. The second sentence employs 'amazing' is acting as the adjective.
