Answer:

99°

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we have to keep in mind that the addition of all angles in a triangle is 180°.

We must write our information:

One angle in a triangle has a measure that is three times as large as the smallest angle

Because we dont know the exact amount of the smallest number we will call it "x". One angle is three times "x" so by the moment we have:

3x + x + ...

The measure of the third angle is 15 degrees more than that of the smallest angle

If the smallest angle is "x" then the 3rd angle will be: x+15

The addition of all angles is 180°

So, we create this equation:

1st angle + 2nd angle + 3rd angle = 180

3x + x + x+15 = 180

Then we solve it:

5x = 180-15

5x=165

x=33

But you have been asked the largest angle

The largest is 3x

If "x" is 33°

3x = 99°

Hope it was helpful ;)

Is (1,2) a solution of the system y>2x and x+y< 3
vovikov84 [41]

Answer: No it is not a solution

Why not? Because it doesn't make the first inequality true. Replace x with 1 and y with 2

y > 2x

y > 2*1 ... replaced x with 1

2 > 2*1 .... replaced y with 2

2 > 2 .... which is a false inequality statement since 2 is not larger than itself
