Answer:
here is what I found
Explanation:
Tribal territories and the slave trade ranged over present-day borders. Some Native American tribes held war captives as slaves prior to and during European colonization. Some Native Americans were captured and sold by others into slavery to Europeans, while others were captured and sold by Europeans themselves. In the late 18th and 19th centuries, a small number of tribes adopted the practice of holding slaves as chattel property, holding increasing numbers of African-American slaves.
European influence greatly changed slavery used by Native Americans, as pre-contact forms of slavery were generally distinct from the form of chattel slavery developed by Europeans in North America during the colonial period. As they raided other tribes to capture slaves for sales to Europeans, they fell into destructive wars among themselves, and against Europeans.
Answer: William Jennings Bryan
Explanation:
William Jennings Bryan was a Nebraska politician who was nominated by his party, the Democratic party, to be their Presidential nominee in 1896 after he gave a rousing speech which today is known as the Cross of Gold speech in support of the bimetal/silver standard.
The standard called for the use of both gold and silver to back the American dollar as opposed to using just gold and was strongly supported by the lower and some middle class. The standard however would have brought high inflation as well as making it harder for the US to trade with other countries.
William Jennings lost the election and the US continued with the gold standard.
Britain spent a huge amount of money fighting the Revolutionary War, increasing national debt hugely and creating a yearly interest of nearly ten million pounds. Taxes had to be raised as a result. The trade which Britain relied on for wealth was severely interrupted, with imports and exports experiencing large drops and the recession which followed caused stock and land prices to plummet. Trade was also affected by naval attacks from Britain’s enemies, and thousands of merchant ships were captured.
On the other hand, wartime industry such as the naval suppliers or the elements of the textile industry which made uniforms experienced a boost, and unemployment fell as Britain struggled to find enough men for the army, a situation which would cause them to hire German soldiers. British ‘privateers’ experienced as much success preying on enemy merchant ships as almost any of their opponents.
The effects on trade were also short term, as British trade with the new USA rose to the same levels as trade with them in colonial form by 1785, and by 1792 trade between Britain and Europe had doubled. Additionally, while Britain gained an even larger national debt, they were in a position to live with it and there were no financially motivated rebellions like those of France.
Indeed, Britain was able to support several armies during the Napoleonic wars (and even field its own instead of just paying for other peoples). It's been said that Britain was even right to lose the war because of the economic benefits.
Answer
The aspect of Bias Idea.
Explanation
Those who are biased tend to believe what they want to believe thus they dont put other peoples opinions into consideration. Generally people who re biased have inclination towards their thinking often based on how they are raised. So when you hear someone from a national energy company argue that a new natural-gas drill site will not be environmentally damaging and will produce many jobs in the community this aspect is in a view of bias idea. You should most definitely consider the bias of this person's claim. He or she makes a living off of natural gas drilling, and is therefore likely to hide certain facts for their own personal gain. This makes him stand to his opinion that the gas will not harm the environment which is not true. This is because he/she is after his/her own benefits.
