Answer:

Systematic Stratified Random Sampling

Step-by-step explanation:

Systematic Stratified Random Sampling

In this type of random sampling the list of element is counted and every kth element is taken. For example if there is a line of 100 students every 5th student would be taken and the students would be divided into 20 groups or strata.

A cluster sampling is done when the population is divided into groups and then each element of the group is considered.

Random sampling is in such a manner that each unit of the population has equal probability of being included in the sample.

As the systematic stratified is done randomly  i.e there is no starting point it is a random sample. Any element can be chosen e.g 5,3, or 7 randomly

Is -2 a solution to 4x^(3)-x^(2)+16x-4
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

Not a solution

Step-by-step explanation:

In order for x=-2 to be a solution, the result after substituting must be 0:

4(-2)^3-(-2)^2+16(-2)-4\stackrel{?}{=}0

4(-8)-4-32-4\stackrel{?}{=}0

-32-40\stackrel{?}{=}0

-72\neq0

Therefore, x=-2 is not a solution to 4x^3-x^2+16x-4
