Answer:

There are many reasons why the Green Revolution has not benefited countries in Africa as it has elsewhere including the small landholding patterns, lack of irrigation, and lack of dealer networks.

Explanation:

The Green Revolution refers to advances in agricultural practices due to high-yielding varieties (HYVs) of grains like wheat and rice, as well as chemical fertilizers which increased production especially in areas of Asia in the 1950s and 1960s. Unfortunately, Sub-Saharan Africa has not seen much benefit or increase in production from Green Revolution techniques like other areas of the world. This is due to unpredictable rainfall levels, lack of irrigation, and problems with soil fertility. In some areas, the land is owned in small parcels by individual owners and they operate on a more subsistence level or for local selling in the community. Added to this are socio-economic factors like lack of dealer networks to move product, the unavailability of credit, and the high cost of agrochemicals when the farmers are cash poor.

Something else that is noticed is that he has to treat the students with respect and does not hesitate to explain things to them in the ways that they would have to understand better.

How this method is significant?

This would help to make the students to be more attentive to Daniel as he goes through his lesson with them. The students would have established that the teacher is someone that they can relate to because he seems to understand them. The teacher also admitted his mistakes. This is one of the ways of building trusts between himself and the students that he has to teach.

Hence we can see that the teacher is making use of effective methods that can help to improve learning in the classroom.
