His mother, Afeni Shakur, was a member of the Black Panther Party, a patrol group who watched over black neighborhoods for police brutality. Most people are interested in him because they finally understand that Tupac's music had no intention to hate on anyone, he was just explain the struggles that man had brought up in the world he was born and raised in.
