The question is asking about specifically what happens when alcohol reduces our inhibitions, the answer therefore would be that we make poor decisions because alcohol makes us more confident, open and able to do things we wouldn't normally do but that isn't necessarily a good thing and many many people make bad decisions when they are drunk and do things they would never do sober.
