Marilyn is a good person in this story because all she wanted to do was see her brother. so she went on board of a medical ship. the ship that Marilyn when on board of, cant hold any more weight than the amount that it has already. So if the captain wants to live, and deliver the medicine to the planet, then he is going to have to throw her off the board. Marilyn does not know that though, she thinks that she will only get fined.

The pilot, Marilyn is a good person in The Cold Equations. All she wanted to do was to see her brother. She boarded the ship that had already exceeded the weight limit. If the captain wanted to live and deliver the planet, they would've had to kick her off the ship. Marilyn did not know any of this though.

She later stabbed her with the dagger and laid dead near Romeo. Juliet's downfall and her death was the result of her falling in love with Romeo. Her actions were majorly inclined randomly and haphazardly. The tragic flaw leads to the death of the character.
