The rule for this situation would be y = 45 + 5x
the only table that gives you the correct output of y when you plug x into the equation is the second table

hope this helped!

Ashley starts with 45 comics.

So in the first box:
x  = 0, y = 45
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Each month, she adds 5 comic books to her collection

x (+1), y (+5) (for each month).

First month.

x = 0
y = 45

Second month

x = 1
y = 45 (+5) = 50

Third month

x = 2
y = 50 (+5) = 55

etc.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

B) is your best choice, as for every month add (+1), the comic books increase by 5 respectively.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hope this helps

PLEASE HELP! THANKS!!!
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

A. 3

B. 4.5

Explanation:

A. 2(5x - 3) = 24

10x - 6 = 24

then add six on both sides

U get 10x = 30

divide 10 on both sides

U get x is 3

B. 5(2x + 1) = 50

10x + 5 = 50

minus five on both sides

10x = 45

divide by 10 on both sides

The answer is x = 4.5

What was one place where the cold war was “hot” and u.s. soldiers fought and died?
Vitek1552 [10]
It was in Korea. US Soldiers fought there and gave their lives when the Korean War took place in the early 1950's. In this case, this was a battle between USA against communism, in direct terms and in proxy.

Hope this helps you.
