Analyze how events in the middle east illustrate economic interdependence.
MaRussiya [10]

Answer;

-Global interdependence is increasing due to growing industrialization and rapid technological advances in manufacturing, transportation, and telecommunications.

Explanation;

There are several factors or ways in which this interdependence is shown.

1) economic - oil is produced in the middle east in large quantities. The world is very dependent on oil for gas and other products.

2) Socially- Many people from all over the world visit the middle east and vice versa. All these interactions affect the social interdependence of the world..and how we get along with each other. As people migrate or travel, they have economic interdependence affecting them all the time in both macro and micro.

3) Cultural - Many cultures occupy the middle east. They are not the same. For example, the people of Iran are largely Persian and that is different from Arab. Also, Jewish people in Israel are of a different background as well.

4) Politically -Each of the countries of the middle east receive economic aid from different countries.

What are three Causes of the French Revolution and explain them?
Mariana [72]

Answer:

Social – The social conditions in France in the late 18th century were remarkably unequal and exploitative. The clergy and the nobility formed the first two Estates and were the most privileged classes in French society. They were excluded from the payment of taxes to the State. On the other hand, the Third Estate that consisted of peasants and workers formed the majority of the population. They were charged with excessive taxes with no political and social rights. As a result, they were extremely discontent.

Economic – As a result of numerous wars waged by Louis XVI the State coffers were empty. The situation was made even more complex by France’s involvement in the American War of Independence and the faulty system of taxation. While the privileged classes were excused from paying taxes the Third Estate was more and more burdened with them.

Political – The Bourbon king of France, Louis XVI was an extremely autocratic and weak-willed king who led a life of obscene luxury. This led to a lot of disenchantment among the masses who then were leading life of extreme poverty and widespread hunger.

Intellectual – The 18th century was marked by a conscious refusal by French thinkers of the ‘Divine Rights Theory’. Philosophers like Rousseau rejected the paradigm of absolute monarchy and promulgated the doctrine of equality of man and sovereignty of people. They played a pivotal role in exposing the fault lines of the old political system, i.e. the ancien regime, and articulating the popular discontent.

The Civil Rights Movement brought changes to
Softa [21]

Answer:

- Poll taxes in elections

- Voting Rights Act of 1965

Explanation:

  Not long ago, citizens in some states had to pay a fee to vote in a national election. This fee was called a poll tax. On January 23, 1964, the United States ratified the 24th Amendment to the Constitution, prohibiting any poll tax in elections for federal officials.

  On August 4, 1965, the United States Senate passed the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The long-delayed issue of voting rights had come to the forefront because of a voter registration drive launched by civil rights activists in Selma, Alabama.

What did the Voting Rights Act of 1965 accomplish?

This act was signed into law on August 6, 1965, by President Lyndon Johnson. It outlawed the discriminatory voting practices adopted in many southern states after the Civil War, including literacy tests as a prerequisite to voting.
